i should just rename this page to "rants agbout ai" at this point man... anyways. i would just like to state another few things about ai; it is most certainly a bubble. amny pro-ai room temp iq cog suckers are comparing ai to microcomputers, in the late 1970s quite a few people thought that computers were just fads and would fade soon. however, ai is nothing like computers. computers unlocked new technology which could not be accessed before, genuinely new things. ai doesn't do anythings truly new, it just remixes what already exists. ai cant make anything truly, it is NOT revolutionary. something that inherently isnt world-changing (i mean it is, if you count the destructiuon of freshwater lakes) and is just a waste of time and monmey, its not going to last. its a bubble. it'll pop. and i will be celebrating the day that happens. a few songs which remind me of ai are "When Will You Die?" and "McCafferty's Bib," both by TMBG. obviously, i am wondering when ai will die. for the 2nd song, the lyric "the genie wont go back in the bottle, and we will never be rid of mccafferty's bib" and "all of my problems went away when i added one more, called mccafferty's bib" quite remind me of how i think many poeople feel about ai. no one really likes it (PLEASE do not visit r/DefendingAIArt, i lost 198 IQ points during my stay), and most people think it will never be gone. keep fighting. ai will not last. WE, yes WE, will kill it.

ANYWAYS swine game news. i somewhat abandoned it again, mainly because i switched which computer i used the most and the opne i use the most now is too old to run unity, or so macos wants me to think. i finally took the plunge and installed linux (more on this later), and (not) surprisingly, the computer runs unity perfecltly fine and now i can work on swine game again. for more information on swine game's development, go to the devlogs at gemtun1.itch.io/swine-game.

as stated previously, i have switched to linux. fuck you microsoft and apple <3 <3. anyways. it works great, my computer no longer sucks. really just goes to show that planned obscelence is mostly caused by the OS (at least from what i can tell).

In light of the online safety act in the UK causing AI age verification on YouTube, I have decided to leave YouTube, at least until this system is removed. While I doubt a boycott will do much to stop them from collecting your data, to all people of the US, I encourage you to call local senators and lawmakers. And for other countries, call whoever is in charge. I may never return to YouTube, or I may give up and head back to it. I mean, it's not like theres much of a choice. YouTube alternitives exist, but few are any good. Also, none are nearly as mainstream, which would limit how much I could grow, and I already have a decent following on YouTube, and there is no way every single one of those people will migrate to the new platform. So in short, I'm not gonna be making anymore YouTube videos for a while.

For a while, I was working on a game that was gonna be an accurate recreation of an abandoned building. However, that was hard and labourous. Not sure if that's even a word. So, I have put that project on hold (i will probably finish it one day,) and I am now working on an update to swine game. This update is aimed to fix some of the problems, like the abscence of any music or ambiance throughout almost the entire game, the sometimes lackluster enviorments, difficulty/level order, and the repetitiveness of certain levels. No idea when this will release, but it is in the works, and brings with it a whole original (mostly) soundtrack.

That's about all. I just wanted to give you all an update on stuff.

i finished swine game (play it at https://gemtun1.itch.io/swine-game :3), but ive been thinking about what my next game will be. i do eventually want to make swine game 2, but i have two ideas for what i will actually do for my next game. the first is like an open(ish)-world game where you play as a scientist driving around studying giant creatures the size of mountains wandering around teh densely fogged world. the other idea is a shorter game where you wander through the desert on a horse (based off of the song "Horse With No Name" [i forgot the artist :p]) and you like die or something idk. so yeah those are my ideas.

so i'm fairly close to completing swine game and getting it to release 1.0.0, but i was thinking: what aboout swine game 2? i might make it, ii have ideas.

yeah like this section of the site is supposed to be chill but i am so utterly pissed off by the existence of ai. if there is a robot apocalypse no way in hell am i surviving once the shit ai datascrapes the website and reveals my pure and utter hatred for them. some people are gonna think that this is an overstatement: but ai is making people stupider. ive seen this firsthand in school. as i write this theres a kid next to me using chatgpt to generate his essay. you may think: whats the harm in that? theyre just cheesing it, that cant make them stupider. well, if thye never aactually use their brains to write essays or do school work, and just use ai (which is largely inaccurate) they arent going to actually learn. a person who never reads is not going to be good at reading. a person who never writes is not going to be good at writing, and etc. i also hate it for how it devalues real work. once, i spent lots of timing very eloquently writing a long essay (we need ~100 words and i had ~400) and the first thing i was asked was "did you use ai?" No, I did not fucking use AI. AI could never come close to a mere smidget of my writing, the unbounded creativity and mastery of the English language that I posses which it will never, not in a trillion millenia, will be able to achieve. ai is not good. it can't generate something like what i am writing here. it doesnt have soul. if i'm reading something ai generated, i can tell. you dont feel any emotion behind the words of an ai essay. for example, this writing. you can probably feel my anger behind the words, but not if something was AI generated. for example, which of the following quotes do you think is from me, and which one was made by chatgpt?

If you guessed #1 was ai generated, youre a fucking dumbass. Ok, in all seriousness, the ai generated one just sounds so dead. Unless you're and adult policing your children, no one says "or there will be consequences." The one i made is also uch more expressive because of the lack of proper puncutaion. In a more intense situation, youre not gonna stop to enunciante all of the little, itsy-bitsy, commas and semicolons. AI will always strictly follow grammar rules, at the expense of sounding animate and alive. To further prove this, read the two following things i wrote and see which sounds more expressive.

actually im making a new game called swine game basically the piggy hive is the hub of the game, you go to different levels from the piggy hive.

yesterday i happened to procure a crt tv! quite joyous! i was able to rescue it from someones garage. they had been planning on smashing it with a sledgehammer soon, so i was glad i was able to get it. it is in really good cosmetic shape, with only a few scratches on the glass. unfortanately, the screen is pretty badly discolored, with some areas making skin tones appear blue. i also, of course, do not own a deguasser, as i do very little research before i commit to soemthing.
