You Cheated
Level 14 is a small beige box, with a beige carpet, wall, and roof. There is a small light brown trim. There is a blacked-out doorway on one side, which leads to a void-like area. Above the door, there is a sign in the style of an emergency exit sign, which reads “You Cheated.” Depending on who entered the level, the text will change to the lostsouls native language. Despite this, level 14 is not an Instance Level. There is a table with some broken, old, 1980s technology on it. Schematic drawings are thumbtacked to the wall above the table, which is missing a chair. There is nothing else in this room except for the stink of mold, so to progress, one must enter the void-like area, commonly called the Dead Zone. The Dead Zone is solid black, though light can be used here, unlike other levels. This material does not absorb nearly as much light as the stuff on level 9, but it still absorbs an impressive 90%. This area is around 500 by 500 meters. The structure of this area is maze-like. There are stairways that lead upwards to the second area, which is humanly infinite. This area is a maze with the same architecture as the first area you enter the level in. There are more “You Cheated” signs scattered around this area, along with old tech, tables, and drawings, making it feel like a much larger version of the starting room. This level contains no food at all, and there are quite a few entities, at about six per square kilometer. You can enter this level breaking the “rules” on any other level, or from the door on level 15. It is almost impossible to exit though, so be wary. You can exit by surviving for thirty days, which is hard to do, due to the lack of supplies and high number of entities.
