Deteriorated Path

Class: 2

Level 18 is mainly comprised of a nearly empty, tall grass field. The grass is usually around half a meter tall. The ground is wet-ish dirt. The sky here is cloudy and bright blue. Time passes normally here, so that’s a bonus. There are almost no trees around this level, but some can be found in the fields rarely. Other plants that can be found are pink-purple wildflowers and dandelions. There are many scattered dirt paths throughout the empty fields. Along these paths, deteriorated gothic-style brick buildings are located. They are mostly completely empty, but some contain food, and such items needed for survival. Nearby these buildings, it is common to find gardens and small, decaying, wooden sheds. When someone enters this level, they will be in the spawning area. This area is a circular stone slab with arrows carved into each cardinal direction. There are four paths leading off of it, which eventually split. The layout of level 18 never changes, and due to its safe nature, much of it has been mapped. There are approximately 1332 kilometers of this level that has been mapped. However, this level is very large, and that only accounts for about 10-11% of the levels entire surface area. Sometimes out in the fields, there are record players playing 1920’s to 1940’s ballroom music. It is unknown where these come from or how they are maintained, but the music never ceases. Despite this, it is rather hard to find one of these. While the entire level is mostly grassy plains, there is a single known forest off of the eastern side of the spawn area. This forest is home to a group known as The Archivers, who run a large library and have a small town around it. There are around 70 bases and groups on level 18, but it would take to long to list all of them. This level is sometimes called the twin of level 222, Dead Grass. Unlike level 222, Level 18 has almost no discernible landmarks and is much safer. You can enter level 18 from level 222, and vice versa. You can leave level 18 by sleeping on a hill, which when you wake up, will take you to level 19. Another way of exiting level 18 is through eating a stick, which takes you back to level 2. There are no entities on level 18, making it rather safe. The biggest danger is starvation.
