Facts
My first ever CRT! (more on that in the next section!) It weighs around 45 lbs, and has a lower deflection angle tube, which makes it quite cumbersome. It is deeper than it is wide. It's a pretty basic set, with a single RF input, so not much for those crazy retro gamers to use. There are three weird holes in the case right above the label on the back, so maybe it'd be good for a composite video mod, or RGB if I'm feelin' spicy! It has some pretty bad convergence issues, which could probably be fixed with a recap. When I originally got it, it also had bad discoloration.
How I got it
As previously stated, this was my first ever CRT. I remember it perfectly... it was sitting on the floor in the garage... right next to the door. There was lots of dust on it... but it had aged like fine wine. In all seriousness, being my first CRT, the feeling I got when picking it up was completely different from all others since. My brother (who also loves old stuff) had been asking people in my church if they had any old TVs, and someone eventually said yes. They said they had been keeping it in their garage for at least 15 years, and were going to smash it with a hammer because they kept tripping over it. About a week later, me, my brother, and my dad went over and picked up the TV. Given it was my first ever CRT, I had no idea what to expect. Though now I can carry 27" sets on my own, because I wasn't sure of how to carry one, both me and my brother moved it to the car. We also got the RF cable from the person who gave us the TV. There was also a matching analog antenna that I wished I had grabbed, even if it would be useless in the modern era. There was another CRT in the house which was being used, so I couldn't grab it. This CRT was like birthday gift as well. The day before, I had gotten my first ever VCR, and the got this. It went through many positions around the basement before settling as a 2nd monitor for the computer.
Review
Despite being a pretty underpowered system, with one input and some weird picture issues, being my first ever CRT gives it a special place in my heart and 10/10. Also have a great memory of forcing my family to watch Independence Day on it.

Was told it had been sitting in a garage for 15+ years... definetly shows!

Internally after I cleaned it up. (I did not know about discharging yet and was lucky I did not get zapped)
