Magenta Corridors
Level three is the magenta corridors, which clearly describes the entire theme of the level. The level is of a deep purplish magenta, but with fading that makes some areas lighter than the rest. The floors and walls are mainly of this material, which is a type of silicon-based stone, and it shares similarities with slate. The material primarily appears in the form of 25cm tiles, with somewhat rough edges. The tiles plate the outside of the walls and floors, with the material they are on being a lighter shade of the magenta silicon-rock. The inside material has a hardness of about 2, while the outer tiles have a hardness of about 4. Often, there will be missing tiles, and the rough edges of the surrounding tiles will form arrow shapes, which just point in random directions. The majority of the level is made of somewhat thin closed off halls and rooms, but it is easy to get around due to massive cracks in the walls. There is never debris near these. Large, pointed amethyst crystals grow in clusters throughout the entire level. There is one* entity in the level, referred to as the amethlo, but there have been reported to be cat entities here, but it may have been cats from another level, and the reports were unconfirmed. The amethlos are very kind and will bring you supplies. They give off the vibe that they aren’t sure where they are either, which is in some ways soothing. They know the layout of the level very well, and it is theorized that they can connect with the amethyst crystals throughout the level and use some type of sonar to find the level’s layout. The amethlos themselves are small and resemble hedgehogs. Another theory is that those who go missing in this level become amethlos, but this is unproven. Sometimes the floors, walls, and ceilings will be made from bricks of semi-translucent smooth white quartz, with birch accents. In these areas, there are birch benches which amethlos tend to hang around on. Sometimes there will be broken heavy garage doors, and on the inside of the rooms there are lightly rusted iron/steel alloy shelves, which are covered in cardboard boxes containing food, water, and various ogrms items. The level follows an I by X by I type layout, so there is no problem of taking as many resources as possible, especially seeing as levels are not so kind later on. The greatest danger on this level is losing your sanity due to the nearly unchanging layout and constant magenta. There are a few bases and outposts on this level, mainly being of the CCOEG. The largest of the CCOEG bases is SL3a, with 82 members. There is also an OITG outpost here, simply named Outpost 5, with 27 members. As of late, you may find lilac duck idols, which look like tiny pale magenta ducks (Item 28). Dropping one in a cat box increases chances to get a cat. There are few entrances and exits to this level. You can enter from level 2 by simply noclipping, by using the crystalline rift on level 203, by eating a stick on level 18, or by finding a room on level 4 that is purple. Enter the room, then exit and you will find yourself here. Another way to enter is to find a large shard of blue kyanite or yellow amethyst on level 52. If you find a factory themed garage room on this level, enter and to get to level 4. You can also exit by finding a conglomerate of colorful gemstones and eating it (don’t ask, but it’s edible). This will take you to level 50.
