Flooded School
Level 6 is a school that appears to have been abandoned recently, as it is in good enough condition to navigate easily but has obviously been empty for some time. There is a layer of water across the floor that is slightly less than one meter tall. This layer of water will flow up staircases and ramps to match the constant ~1-meter depth. The water is always still, only with small waves. Despite the water being still, you will be able to commonly hear rushing water and other similar sounds. Sometimes, you can find papers, lunchboxes, old clothes, and other things floating through the waves. All of the objects are being propelled by some unknown force, and they are all heading east. This will sometimes cause large blockages of these clothes and paper piles conglomerating around thin doorways. The floor of level 6 is constructed of large, white terrazzo tiles, though several halls and rooms have colorful tiles. The walls are a light shade of bland beige-yellow. The walls are usually made of either brick or drywall, of several bland shades, like gray and white. There is a gray tile trim around the bottom of the walls. Sometimes, Level 6’s roof is made of drop ceiling tiles, which appear to water damaged or broken in many places. These tiles are unstable and drop uncommonly. They are sometimes browned from damage. Most of the roof is made of thin magnetic ceiling beams pockmarked with a grid of holes, with larger I-beam supports helping. You can commonly find magnets stuck to the roof that some kid probably threw. The layout of level 6 usually is coherent and resembles that of a normal school. This is not consistent though. Areas will sometimes end randomly or be segmented incorrectly, with doorways that should go to a closet going to an auditorium, hallways going on for kilometers just to lead to a closet, and more. The vast majority of this level is taken up by hallways and standard classrooms. Each room is marked “FS”, probably standing for flooded school, and then a number. Despite the large size of the school, the numbers have never been seen to go higher than 1000. There are large auditoriums, gymnasiums, and cafeterias as well. The gyms tend to have adjacent locker rooms, which it is advised to avoid due to pranksters flooding the surrounding water with human byproduct from the toilets. It is very dangerous here due to lack of food. The best chance of getting food is from the cafeterias, though most of the time it is rotting or inedible (average school food moment). There are also trash cans in the cafeterias, and you probably will get better food from the trash than from the school’s kitchen. There are sometimes announcement boards inside of the cafeterias. Another thing that is quite common to find in the cafeterias are maps of the surrounding half square kilometer, centered on the cafeteria. These maps will never stick with you if you take one and will teleport back to their original positions when left unchecked. Rarely, you can find nurse’s offices. These are great to look in, as they sometimes contain bandages and basic medicines, as well as an abundance of ice. Sometimes, they contain entire closets full of ice, because school. The halls are about four meters wide. Lockers are scattered around the halls, which are sometimes open. Most of the lockers are rusted to the point of being unusable. The ones that can be opened will mostly be empty, with some containing old lunchboxes or backpacks. Water fountains are also common in the halls. There are elevators in the halls, which can lead to other floors or levels. The elevators will usually send you to one of the six school floors based off the button you pressed, or to level 7 or 8. Entities are somewhat rare on level 6. There are a few settlements around level 6, though you would be lucky to find them. The largest of these settlements is a group called The Level 6 Gang, with about 75 members. The have sealed and drained out a cafeteria and survive off of growing potatoes and mushrooms.
